We used 1x2's for roosting bars on these units. Now we use 1x3's so they don't sag. This is part of my coop. Needs a good cleaning!

Our Business

Our business is chicken nesting box manufacturing. We make and sell them, ship them all across the USA mainland. We will also work with you to get those old rusty nesting boxes in your coop back to working condition. Don't rely on wooden bottoms or worse (cardboard!) to hold up your hens and cackleberries! Get new bottoms made up for them and save an egg!

I know our boxes are quality. I have the first 2 he ever made and we have improved the design since then. I have 2 of the 12" ten hole units on one wall of my coop and the 2 old "refirbished" boxes on the other wall. Total of 36 holes! Yes, I need more chickens! (But who doesn't???!!!)

Who We Are

Once upon a time... there was a retired sheet metal fabricator... who had his tools and a daughter-in-law... who had chickens and old broken down nesting boxes...He fixed them, she was happy. He made her a new nesting box. She took a picture and sold it on ebay while he made another, and another and another...

Here we are 4 years later. Dad has passed away and I have kept the business going with the help of his son, my husband. We have sold well over 800 boxes and have shipped them coast to coast in the continental US.

We have worked with Mother Earth News Magazine's Community Chicken Project. We have donated a nesting box of their size choice and they have  put it in their coop and Bloged / Reviewed it! How cool is that??? Rock-on!
