Have an old nesting box that has rotted bottoms? How about broken arms that hold (or used to hold) the roosting bars? We can replace those parts! If you have the old one(s), we will try to duplicate. Otherwise, we can work with you to make something really good for you and for your hens.
Contact us for more details.
The bottoms of most nesting boxes pop out for easy cleaning. Over time, the metal gets old and needs to be replaced. We can make new bottoms for your coop.
Measure the existing ones, or the hole size if there aren't any original bottoms left. Let us know which measurement has the bends. The bends give it rigidity (keeps the hen from falling thru). You place the bent sides on the sides. They sit on shelves on the front & back of the unit. If you want 3/4" bends and have a 9" x 11" bottom with the bend sides on the 9" side, it would be 3/4"-9"-3/4" x 11". If you wanted the bends on the 11" side, it would be 3/4"-11"-3/4" x 9". Make sense?
You will need to contact me with the measurement, etc. I won't make them until we are both sure it's a done deal so if you are hesitating, stop that! Contact me!!!

This is the top arm on our units. The lower arm on our 2-story models is longer and holds 2 roosting bars. They come complete with holes pre-drilled for screwing the bars on and attaching it to the nesting box itself as well as coming with the nut & bolt and screw(s). Wood is not included.
Same as above but the bottom ones as described above...huh? Oh well, I will have to get a picture so you know what I am babbeling about... Oh, you have a clue, great! Thanx.
What else can you think of? We can make lots of things out of metal. If you have an idea, ask or tell or suggest or hint. No, wait, I don't do well with hints, just tell me what you want and lets come up with a plan... Not rollout bottoms. Too time consuming to make. That whole hinge thing has me baffeled. I will pass on that but I did make some windmill blades for Randy last week. That was fun!
